how to use my 2003 power puck

Post by yammerman »

since there were no directions on how to use power puck, I was just curious if there was a certin way to use it. I have a 2003 cummins 2500 and all is working well, I was just wondering if I was supposed to keep it in stock mode unless I really need the power, or can I keep it in any setting. and what setting should I use to tow my 30ft. 5th wheel?

OK, thats up to you....

If you want extra power, set it to where you need it, if not, leave it off.

I would only use the lower setting for towing.

FWIW - I've had the 7156 on my truck for about 2 years now and have left it on the 60 hp Tow setting since installation. No plans to change it to the 90 until later down the road when tranny work and temp guages are in. It's truly a set it and forget it kind of plug-in.
