throwing codes P2229 and Po192

Post by trgoffroader7 »

Had the extreme power puck on about 2 months and had these codes come up tonight so I unplugged the puck and drove the truck and the engine light went out completely. Any explanations why would throw these codes. I also noticed after unplugging chip my mpg had gone up from 13.9 to 14.4 is only about 15 miles.

its very odd that the codes would appear after a few months, sounds like a possible issue with the puck harness or bad ground.

Checked grounds everything seems ok. Plugged the switch back in and within 30 seconds the check engine light was on.

To be honest about it i really dont want the thing on my truck after having it back to stock it just seems like it runs smoother and sounds better with out the puck. If I would send it back and there was a problem with the puck is there a way i could get a refund or something considering it was faulty?
