no go wot!

Post by herationkane »

I have a 2013 gmc 6.6l duramax with the p2040 extreme power puck. with the knob turned to the max I am getting 2-3mpg better, but If I go wot in any gear past 2nd it seems to stall and power is cut. I can let off to 50-60% and it will pull again. I called the tech department today and the guy had no idea what he was doing! I think he was the floor technician! I have the fass 150 on the truck and it still is not running correctly. Please give me some ideas!

Just out of curiosity are you getting any indicator lights? I'm wondering if maybe you are limping it.

its a stack of 3 washers placed behind the pressure relief valve to increase its holding pressure....the instructions are shown inthe manual.

If you didnt get the shims inthe box, please email me your name and address so I can get it out to you.

Thanks

It does not have any lights or codes. When I go full throttle it just feels like it is stalling. It actually feels and sounds like its hitting the rev limiter and when I let off some it will start to pull like it should.

Tonight I made 2 passes against my buddies Pontiac g8 and from start to close to 1/8 mile it pulled very hard then started acting up. On the second pass same thing then a light came on. It said low fuel pressure and lost com with glo plug module.

I received the shim kit but on previous models the relief plug is in the end of the rail where the lml just has a sensor that cant be shimmed.

sounds like the fuel system simply cant keep up, or its dumping fuel pressure which is what the shim kit would have been for....let me investigate.
