Another "do I need a MAFia" thread

Post by shelby2010 »

I have a 2010 shelby gt500 with :

Upper pulley, +10% lower pulley, offroad xpipe and a dyno tune. Car put down just under 600rwhp/tq with 15lbs boost

Do I need a MAFia now, or would that be something that will benefit me once I put on a larger/twin screw blower?

I have an SCT handheld programmer, does it read the voltage to your knowledge of the MAF? or do I have to get in there with a voltage meter to check?

You should be able to log MAF_V to see how close to 5V you are now.

My understanding is that a GT500 with stock intake and pulley will need a Mafia, and with a CAI you get a little more breathing room.
