1997 Mustang GT..Need to know the best setting.

Post by Snakes97GT »

I have a '97 Mustang GT with a few mods. They are: P.I. Heads, BBK tuned shorty headers, BBK cold air kit, C&L intake plenum w/ accufab 75mm Throttlebody, Pypes full X-pipe exhaust system, and an SCT 4bank eliminator chip with custom tuned files. Everything else was left stock. My stang is naturally aspirated.

The MAFi.a. was made for forced induction and high horsepower naturally aspirated engines according to RPMoutlet.com's website. I bought the diablosport MAFi.a. so that my Maf voltage wouldn't peg out with all the air that's coming through it.

My questions are: Which setting would be the best for my set-up? And how am I supposed to know what the LED lights mean if they didn't give me anything explaining the settings or light status? Does the MAFi.a. come with an instruction manual and a cd-rom?

You do not need a mafia, nor would I recommend putting one on your car.
It will add 0 hp and will require a custom tune to make it work....

I already bought and recieved the MAFi.a. device. And I told BAMA custom tuning that I have a MAFi.a. installed. I knew the MAFi.a. wouldn't give me more horsepower. I just thought it would extend the voltage range of my factory MAF sensor voltage so that it the MAF sensor wouldn't hinder my performance in-case it does peg out.
