1999 7.3 l Ford

. Problem started the other day and it was no cool. Pickup at lower RPM barely touch the throttle and motor surged BIG time then dropped off and was surging up and down above 1500 rpm it's ok when you drop below it starts loping and surging. I have ran this chip for approx 130K it's been flawless until now. Pulled it and problem went away reinstalled wiggled it back and fourth to clean contact points and started it up... It started all over again. Pulled it it's fine. How do i proceed? this thing is DANGEROUS!
