I recently sold my 2001 f-150 which i had a predator on. I now have a 2001 cobra, is it possible to just reburn the predator and not purchase an entire new tuner? I plugged it into my cobra and it communicates fine, reads PIDS and datalogs.

as far as I know, they are two different model predators/tuners and can not be "re-burned" for a different vehicle... while it may read the codes on your new car, it won't have the tunes or programming in it for it.
you would need to trade-in your current Predator towards the purchase of a new one for your 2001 Mustang Cobra (Predator model U7146). They will give you a trade-in credit towards the purchase of a new Predator.
