2009 Pontiac G6 GXP 3.6/6spd auto.

Post by The09GXP »

Posted in the wrong section the first time.

I was wondering if there was going to be any development for the Pontiac G6 Platform. I have 2 Pontiac G6's that I would love to flash, one being a 2009 GXP with the 3.6L and 6spd auto trans. I also have a 2008 Pontiac G6 with the 3.5L and 4spd auto trans.

Please let me know if there is any development or if there is already a tuner out that would work for me other than HPtuners.

They don't support it because it had/has no performance aspirations. Most people who bought a performance Pontiac in 09 would have bought a G8 GT or GXP, not a G6 GXP. I used to see this back when I had my GP GTP. Only a few specialized companies supported them, because the performance Pontiac at the time was the Firebird/Trans Am. The V8 RWD car will ALWAYS get the aftermarket support over the V6 front driver.

Yeah I understand that but this car has it's own potential too. I mean bone stock down the 1/4 it ran a 14.2 @ 98mph. So I can imagine with a 91 tune and getting rid of tq management 13's are capable with this car.
