Man, you gotta be seeing all the new M3 buzz. 425 hp rating, 427 to the wheels stock....lol.
50+ rwhp from a tune. Awesome cars.

I haven't seen anything on the M3. I choose not to. The 3.0L I6 has to be getting pretty close to its limits the way they're boosting it. I'm betting that they're gonna start seeing the same type of catastrophic engine failures that Ford is apparently seeing with the GT500's 5.8 (according to Motor Trend). You can only do so much with boost on pump gas.

Screw the M3, screw the 6 cylinder. The V8s are better, 25% more cylinders, 47% more displacement and have a way bigger up side.

Okay, you got the EcoBoost tuning out, got decent gains. Now make even more power with the TT BMW V8s. Anything you release now has to have similar gains to the EcoBoost, if not more, or its gonna look limpdicked. You can't have a 90hp gain on the EB and then release a tune for a 4 cylinder with 10-15hp. Who's gonna pay the same $600 for 10hp as the other guy pays for 90? He's gonna feel like he's getting ripped off.

what 4 cylinder do you fear we'll tune for 10 HP gains? LOL

Only 4 cyl we are playing with now gains 25% increase in HP and Torque from a tune, thats huge...

But 25% of 200hp is still nothing compared to 25% of 400. And considering the 400 is doing well over 25% with a piggyback, you could probably count on close to 40%. What looks better to advertise, 50hp gain or 160hp gain?
