U7165 Not reading ignition on/off.

Hey, I was in the process of putting of backing up my original backup, and it got to the part where you had to turn the ignition to on/off.. It tried about 2-3 times but to no avail, came up with a screen that said you may already have a power module, etc.. Any help? And no, I didnt turn my engine on during the process.

Got any aftermarket electronics installed in the vehicle?

It may be a possibility as I did buy it used. What would be the best action to take, just take it to the dealership and let them reflash it?
