2001 7.3 bad fuel injection module

I have a 2001 F350 with a 7.3 liter diesel and for the past 3 years i have loved the power that my diablosport tuner has given me. Unfortunatlly about 6 months ago my check engine light came on. I used my tuner to get the code and it said my fuel injection module or idm was bad. I got a new idm and it lasted me about 4 months and then went bad too. Got a second idm from the warrenty and didnt make it but 5 minutes and i had gone through the 3rd idm. I called my ford dealer and took my truck in after some diagnostic work they set my tuner back to stock and put another idm in i havent had any troubles since. My ford dealer said they see chips and tuners eat idm's alot. What should i do? Can i send it to you and have it fixed? Should it just throw it away? How long do these tuners usually last?

What is the revision on that Predator?

I have never done any revisions i plugged it in when i bought it and had no problems till now
