you have an SRT-8, right? may not get the same improvement, since 6.1 intake is aluminum and conducts electricity. should have much better direct ground than plastic 5.7 intake.
I have a CTS-V. The ground is through the supercharger. I didn't actually make it to use, just made it because I had nothing else to do, and my hands have to be doing something or I starting picking on paint and stuff like that.
LOL!

picking paint will actually give you something to do always. you pick the paint off, then you re-paint where you picked the paint off. repeat over and over and over!

Good news, I made that ground cable and hooked it up yesterday. Worked like a charm! All these years living with that stupid delay and now it responds the way it should. Thanks for the info guys! Much appreciated.

I do have a questions about the throttle boost adjustment on the predator, if I'm using the regular 91 oct CAI tune, can I also adjust the throttle boost? Or is that something that's only available if you're doing a custom tune mod?

you're welcome for the info!

you can adjust throttle boost +/- 20% on both canned tunes and custom tunes with your tuner.

Did this tonite before I went to work........What a difference!!! Right from my driveway, it was noticeable. Can't believe this simple "mod" did what it did. No more lag...instant accelleration. Thanks White Lighting!!

not sure. is the 2011 intake plastic or metal?

if you have an ohm meter, you can check if TB is grounded. put one lead on the throttle body, and the other lead on valve cover, ground bolt on side of engine bay, (-) battey cable or other ground and you can see if there is some ground, no ground or good ground.

you're welcome.

throttle body should be metal. aluminum, I think.

intake manifold is plastic on 03- 08 Hemi Rams, so ground is poor to none.

I don't know what the intake manifold is made of on a 2011 Ram 5.7.

That TB aluminum and I already did the ground wire, I seems to work but I will have to drive it more.

Sorry guys but I cannot see how a ground wire would work as the TB housing has NO electrical connection from any of its components within. We have an old faulty TB and I will be opening it up for a look inside.

I see what everyone is saying about the grounding of the TB, most electronics have a ground wire in the harness, but it will try to ground itself through the item the harness is hooked to. I'll have to test it more to see if it is working.

Does anyone have some more performance tricks like the grounding of the TB. Sense a tuner is not out yet.

there is one way to tune a 2011 Ram:
replace 2011 PCM with 2010 PCM. read a thread about it on another forum.
