2008 LMM "Service Trailer Brake System" Error Mess

When accelerating quickly I get the following error message "Service Trailer Brake System". The message is displayed on the DIC along with the Brake and ABS warning lights being illuminated. So far I have only seen this error occur when using the 40HP with Tow Mode enabled and 100HP without the Tow Mode enabled.

After pulling over, turning the ignition off, waiting 10 seconds and restarting the vehicle, the error goes away and everything returns to normal. All other settings appear set correctly: Tire Size, Speed Limiter, etc.

Is this something I should be concerned with or is it just a bug?

Do you have stock sized tires?

No, I am running 325/60R20's which is what the Predator tire size is set to as well. I looked in the trouble codes this am, and even though it thinks there is a problem, no codes have been logged.

Does it happen if you unplug the trailerbrake?

The trailer brake cannot be unplugged as it's integrated into the dash, not an aftermarket device.

Error happened again this am on my way to work with 60HP setting. Normal driving up a slight grade, accelerated from 55mph to 65mph.

Went to Yosemite this past weekend, with the tune set to "Tow" I could not pull any grades without the warning message coming on.; I restored the factory tune and did not have any further errors so the problem is obviously related to the Predator.

Did you ever resolve your problem? I just installed my 60hp tune on my '08 LMM and I'm having the same issue. I get the trailer brake message as well as an ABS error on the dash. I verified and my ABS is in fact disabled. I shut the truck of and it clears. Then it does it again going down the road. I can drive around with no ABS!
