U7186 monitoring

Post by T150V »

OK, Predator U7186 9r12
2006 Chevy Duramax LLY

Can I monitor PID's without logging? The log fills up and it stops monitoring. If so, how?

Also, the manual refers to slow and fast data collection, but I cannot figure out where to select these.

Suggestion: log to a circular buffer so the most recent data is kept and the oldest overwritten.

thanks,
John

does it ask you if you wish to record the log, Yes or No?

I haven't seen that. On the list of PID groups is "Watch and Record" Or if I back up it says [something like] "Watch and Record now?" I cannot figure out how to see the data without choosing one of those two (identical) options.

I'm curious how this works also. I haven't been able to log anything and be able to view it later.

That I can do. The other option on my menu besides "Watch & Record" is "Playback". Also, you can download the data to your computer and view it with the Diablo Dataviewer. Problem is the Predator runs out of memory after a few minutes of recording, so if i want to watch something for an hour, i can't.
