u7186 lly?
I have a u7186 that worked fine on my 06 LBZ before i traded the truck in i unlocked it. When i plugged it into my 05 LLY it says unable to read vehicle but the product description says it will work on a LLY. Is there a reason or a fix for this?

The U7186 only supports 06-10 Duramax applications, the 05s use a different PCM.

Does that also mean that the U7185 I had for an '05 can not be make to work with the '06 LBZ I just bought?

Correct, 06 needs U7186.

Ok so I have a 2007 classic LBZ, i have it updated with 9v08 since 9v12 locks my tool.
does my tool work on all dmaxes from 2006-2010 LLY/LBZ/LMM?
