I just recived my u7180, part.nr 279522. When i plug it in it says "this partnumber does not support your vehicle" Why???
I have a GMC Sierra 3500 6,6 Duramax -04

Do you know if you have the LB7 or the LLY? You may just have the wrong part# for that year truck. GM did some changes in the computer that year which may be the issue your having.
Check the 8th digit of Vin.
If it is a One (1) it is an LB7 and you will have to use the Predator part# U7180
If it is a Two (2) it is an LLY and you will have to use the Predator part# U7185
Check the 8th digit of Vin.
