Is stacking predator and power puck on a lly really ok???

Post by biloxidmax »

I have a lly with a predator. I recently purchased a extreme power puck to stack with the predator. I know alot of cummins people run this but i have heard from alot of sources that it probably wouldnt be a good idea to do it with a duramax motor. Is their a upgrade i can get for my predator to where i have a different set of tunes that i can run with the power puck, like the cummins have? I am also not very knowledgable to what updates i should be downloading for my predator or power puck? please explain how much if any timing is used in the power puck vs the predator? Thanks.

Its all good, as long as you are responsible.
Most cummins guys do this in the name of more power. If thats what you're after, you should be looking into upgrading the trans and fuel system.
If you just want some adjustability on the fly, load the 65 tune, then use the puck dial to bring in more power when you need it.
