dpf delete
So I got to thinking a little about this. If I had my 2011 gas 1500 truck I could get a tune to delete the cats. That is an illegal modification right. But I can do it! So why is it such a big deal to do the exact same thing on my new diesel? If this was a possibility I would buy a new programmer from diablo. But if not I would have to buy one from someone else.

It's not illegal to remove Cats, you just can't pass visual inspection without them. It is illegal, however, to remove a diesel particulate filter from a 2008+ diesel truck. Companies who produce devices to allow such things are fined by the EPA. Edge was hit with a 250k fine that was capable of such.

removing cats is just as illegal, just not as heavily enforced.
