It also acts the same as when you plug 12v power directly to the power port on the top of the tool with no obd2 connection or computer hooked to the db9 connector on the tool.

if it wont talk to another truck, its gonna need to come in for us to check it out.

Which means a hundred bucks and shipping since I bought it three years ago and don't still have the receipt?
