Not showing Knock sensors.....

The dataviewer is not showing my knock sensor readings instead it shows (PRG VAP ADAPT INT Mult*10) and (PHI ADAPT Mult) under miscellaneous even though i didn't select them. I have the latest version of Dataviewer 3.3.0.9 also tried 3.3.0.8

I have the proper pids selected on my Intune DCX. When I am logging it displays the knock sensor on my intune it just wont display in dataviewer. Help please thanks.

The intune screen shows the knock sensor readings while I am logging. The ST & LT Knock displays in the Data viewer but the Knock sensors do not.

No i can not live stream. It gets stuck on acquiring tool information then the program does not respond. I have to end process to close it.

to live stream, try letting the tool sit powered up for 10 minutes or so, then connect DV and see if it connects.

It worked thank you. It allows me to record a live stream data, which should allow me to see the KS when i open the file in DV. I hope. Any idea why the tool will not record knock sensors without live streaming?

because the tool has a limited amount of memory/storage space...

using the dataviewer on a laptop gives you full access to all parameters due to it's larger memory and storage space availability...

The problem cannot be due to the limited amount of memory. Unless it is set up to not record certain pids. Even if I only choose the Knock Sensor as a single pid to record on the tool, it still will not show on my logs in DV. I end up getting pids i did not select and are not displayed on the DCX under the pids list.

I have a degree in information systems and i am very familiar with how data is logged, stored and displayed. I also understand the difference between live streaming and data logging. This is not an ID10T error.

When i initially noticed the problem I only had 5 pids selected to record. Five is not an overwhelming amount. For some reason it is specific to the Knock Sensors. I can select any other pid and it will log and display properly when i open the file in DV. I will continue to play with it to see if i can figure out what is going on.
