Please HELP!!!! "No Predator found..."

Running Windows XP, trying to get my laptop to recognize my new U7198 with no luck I installed the Prolific USB-serial adapter and verfied that the PC is seeing the Predator using HyperTerminal (I think it worked, I got a few strange characters on the window when the Predator booted up). I tried a few of the different releases of the Downloader all with the same results--on autoconnect, it continually says "searching com 3." On manual connect it says "no predator connected." What am I missing? Please help!!!

Ahhah!
Theres the issue...you dont use DSDL with the U7198....you need the 99-02 PC interface from the U7198 downloads page.
There are instructions on the bottom of that page as well.
