anybody running the trinity performance tune

Post by crazeecanadian »

i have a 08 F350 6.4l and am running the performance tune. i don't see any posts about it. my mileage is great, but the shifting gets a little funny sometimes. Also, when giving very light throttle i get a "stutter" almost like it wants more fuel, of course it goes away when i give it more gas.

Anyone else experience any of these issues?

thanks

i'm pretty sure i am. i supplied all my info a couple of weeks back to Vas via email and i've been bugging him since them with a bunch of questions...lol. he didn't say that my revision was out of date or anything so i'm assuming its ok. i haven't heard back from him yet and i'm leaving for a long road trip tonight so i figured i'd post to see if anyone had any advice.

thanks

the only other tune i tried was extreme. from what i remember, the truck ran like it had an extreme tune.....tight shifts, good power. I didn't need it that tight, thats why i went down to the performance tune. it's a good tune and the mileage is great, that's why i want to leave it in for this road trip. stock, these issues don't happen. when i loaded the tune in, it also asked me what transmission tune i wanted. i choose performance transmission tune to match the engine tune. if i put a lesser transmission tune in......say economy, would that make the shifting less aggresive ?
