Trinity T1000 and 2018 Sierra issues

Hey everyone, new here and forgive me if this has been addressed i could not find anything on it.

So i just picked up a trinity T1000 for our 2018 GMC sierra 5.3L. The tuner all looks to be in great shape, it was infact unlocked and ready to go. First things first got it home, downloaded the DSDL and drivers, plugged it in and computer said it had 7 updates it needed to do. no biggie took about 30 min for everything do update and install. take it out to the truck and the second i click the "performance" link i get this message "Trinity needs an update to tune this vehicle. Connect to DSDL and check for updates". I have plugged it into the computer now about 20 times, tried restarting the DSDL program, restarting my computer, and all i get is it shows the tool is found, says Scanning trinity CROMS. then on the bottom right says "communicating with ignition, please wait..." then nothing happens. if i just set with it plugged in for like 10-15 min ill eventually just get some pop up that just says error with an x to close it out... the tuner just stays in "this tool is now under remote control until it gets unplugged.

Can anyone please give me some answers on what to do here

its waiting for the unlock update, can you give me the VIN number of the truck so I can look it up?

the unlock has been processed, you should be ready to update and then tune.

Just tried to tune and get the message “your calibration is not supported, trinity will try to save your original backup. Press enter to view calid”?

ok, it will read/save the backup from the pcm and ask you to send it to us, you can post it here and we'll get it added asap.

actually cant hurt to load this update first and try again.

I actually just emailed the files to one of the tech support guys about an hour ago I will give this a try though and see what happens. Thanks for your help.
