Can't change idle speed. 2016 Z06 A8

Post by Colonel »

I wanted to try lowering the idle speed just a bit to see how if I would like the idle sound better. I first tried lowering it 50 RPM and it made no difference. I then tried 150 and it still made no difference. This is using the Diablo tune and the 1R13q firmware.

All else seems to be working fine.

Also, should I be able to raise the RPM limit (haven't tried it yet)? I was thinking that might save me an extra shift right before the finish line in the 1/4 mile.

Thanks,

Stephen

for whatever reason, some calibrations (likely for emissions reason) simply will not allow the idle to go lower than stock, no matter what it is set to in the PCM unfortunately.
