"Backup in tool corrupt"

Post by Blueflames79 »

I have a 2003 GMC Serria 2500hd 4x4 with LB7 6.6 Diesel. The programmer is up to date with latest tune. I have the truck programmed to the 65hp and econ tune but now I want to bump it up to a different tune and i get error.

It tells me that the "Backup in tool is corrupt" and give a error message like (4) on the display then it cancels the programming.

I tried to restore truck back to original program and it does same thing. How do i get my stock tune back??

Here is a few pics of what is installed and error message

Please give us a call with the tool powered up in the truck, reference this post please, and ask for a force set failure.
