how much oil should be in the can

i have a 07 srt8 charger u7135 predator. 93 cai tune 15 percent thottle boost with shift limtis raised. after about 200 miles of driving. with some of it getting on the car off the line i get about maybe 1/2 once of oil in the can

catch can?

it has nothing to do with the tune, how much oil it collects is based on how much oil your PCV system spits out ;)

1/2 oz is nothing. I used to be able to fill the whole can in a little over 1,000 miles. Best explanation I've heard: The more you get on it, the less vacuum, so when you lift, theres a vacuum surge that pulls oil into the can.

I have a conceptual polymer HE catch can on my 2013 Silverado with a 5.3L. I filled a 16 oz water bottle with what I drained out of the catch can in around 11,000 miles. Can only imagine that junk going into the intake! I put this unit on at about 1190 miles on my Silverado. Glad I did it early on.

You don't need to imagine. Its something like this. This was my Jeep SRT8 when I got it with 6k miles.
