Hello Everyone

Post by BigBoy69 »

Hello, I'm new to the board. I came here to gain some knowledge, since this is the first tuner I ever owned.

I have a:
2012 Ford F150, FX4, 4 door, 3.5l Ecoboost

I purchased a:
Diablo i2 2020 tuner, 49 state legal

I downloaded a tune from the tuner, the 93 octane tune and the truck rips. i also have the K&N replacement filter and a 4" Cat back MBRP exhaust on the truck.

I noticed the idle goes above 110 rpm, (sorry 1100 rpm corrected) here and there and sometimes the shifts aren't very smooth. I was wondering if I can change all that stuff in the settings??? Or do I need to do that with a laptop??? And if so, do I need to download a program to the laptop?

Ive never done this before.

Thank You

Idle should be consistent, if not there may be something else at play.
Adjusting shifting can be done to a certain extent, but if its too hard let me know and we can try turning it down.

Thanks

Normally I can sit and the idle is around 700 and then it will go to 1100 for a bit and go back down.
What else could be at play you think?
