I have a 2012 F150, 3.5l ecoboost. I use the Diablo i2 2020 with the 93 octane tune that was pre loaded.
How does a custom tune get made?
I have in my truck, the Diablo i2 2020, tune, a K&N replacement filter and a MBRP 4" Cat back exhaust. I was wondering if there is a custom tune made with those mods included?

Or am I thinking about this all wrong? This is my first tuner I ever bought and Im not a motor head, hehe.

you contact a cmr tuner, agree to work with them and send them the files from the tunes folder on the i2 drive and they may also ask you to record a log, and send that.
Then they send back a new custom tune, you load it to the device then to the truck, and enjoy.
