Data Viewer Install issue
Data Viewer Install issue
I'm running into an issue when trying to run the data viewer. I get a message stating: "side by side configuration is incorrect" on a windows 8.1 pc. I've tried installing the application to a different location other than the program files x86 folder, but I get the same error.
I looked over the sticky post regarding the data viewer and tried the fixes there, but still get the same error message. Is there anything else I can try?

I know this is probably not a high priority, but any ideas? I'm still getting the same error.
I uninstalled/reinstalled with no major success.

try uninstalling anything dataviewer related then reinstall from the web link.

please run it again then go to the RUN option on your pc and type in event viewer.
then go to windows logs/applications and you should see the errors in that list, please screenshot or send us the info it shows there.

Follow the instructions on this page to download and run a Microsoft package update. Let us know if that solves your problem.
