Hello,

My mechanic has received the Whipple tune to install in my 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8. This is for my 2.9 Whipple supercharger.
But it is coming up with errors.
I assume because my current Diablosport '91 tune' is conflicting with the Whipple tune. (Whipple supplied my mechanic with the SCT X4 flash device)

I assume you need the intune flash device (that tuned the vehicle) to return the vehicle to it's stock tune. But the flash device was 'lost' by my Chrysler dealer...

What is the correct procedure to install the Whipple tune?

Thank you in advance. This is frustrating.

if you lost the diablo device you need to have a dealer flash the pcm back to stock.

Hello Mike,

I did this, and the dealer wasn't successful.
The SCT tune found traces of the Diablo tune. Therefore, I couldn't install the SCT tune.
I had to buy a new PCM. $1000. Not happy.

Amber Kesatie (Diablo Tech Support) told me I can send my old PCM in to be unlocked. Is there any other way? I'm in Australia.
I'd like to sell the old PCM, and at least get some money back.

Why would you buy a new one rather than just have a dealer flash it back to stock for like $100? Besides that, last 2013 GPEC PCM I recall purchasing cost like $200 used. $350 new. $1000 is kinda crazy...

We can flash the other one back to stock sure. I just think its going to cost more to ship it here and back then its worth in the end?
