2013 V6 Mustang auto speedometer calibration

Post by philser »

I'm unable to get a correct speedometer reading after enabling axle ratio/tire size calibration. I've got the CC axle code and P255/40/R19 tires. The stock setup reads about 2mph light at 80mph; what you'd expect with a slightly smaller diameter tire to stock. When I enable axle ratio/tire size calibration, set the ratio at 2.72 and the appropriate sidewall tire dimensions the speedometer reads about 1/3 the actual rate (20mph at 60mph actual speed). What's up??

Here you go. I don't see a place to enter revs per mile. Just enabled axle ratio/tire calibration, entered CC axle ratio (2.73) and tire size per sidewall (255/40/r19).
