I installed the latest Ignition update (Diablo i2 r80). Drum roll please ....

No ... it does not fix the "Please Wait" hang after selecting the Data Logging menu.

Mine wouldn't even take the updates for some reason. Finally got a fix through email support. Just got it working yesterday and can finally data log. Sucks that it took nearly two months to work it out but time to move on. Good luck!

Glad to hear they got yours working. If they were able to get yours working ... maybe the fix will be in the next Ignition update (Hint ... hint  )

please load this update to the device then use the restore default pid option on the device.

I would love to know if this resolves this issue for anyone.

Thanks

Mike,
I loaded this update to my device (inTune i2) and was able to access the Data Logging menu. I selected the "restore default pid" option and collected a couple of logs. The logs appear to be correct when I view them in Data Viewer.

Success :D

Thanks.

Mike,

Using Ignition, I installed the "Diablo i2 i3 (r6)" update, and afterwards when I attempted data logging, the Data Logging menu was stuck on the "Please Wait" message. I reinstalled the "Vehicle-2t02af.itf" file and the Data Logging menu worked as normal again.

So here's my questions:
1. Do I need to reinstall the "Vehicle-2t02af.itf" file after every Ignition update?
2. Do I need to perform the "restore default pid" after each reinstall of the "Vehicle-2t02af.itf" file?

Thanks.

theres no reason to update with ignition while you have that file loaded.

Just load it once, restore defaults once, and then its fine.
