i3 Tranny and traction

Post by ruger77 »

Got a i3 tuner loaded up on my 17 Ram: Diablo tune, throttle @20%, rev limit and speed limiter set, and fan adjusted but there is no options for a tranny tune or traction control disable! Am I missing something here? how do I get those options? Other than that the truck is noticeably quicker!

Did you update the device prior to tuning the first time?

Post the info.xml file from the i3 drive please.

Restore the stock tune to the vehicle please.
Then download this file and save it to the i3 drive, and let the device import it.

Once its loaded, go to the truck and it will ask you to check for an update for the TCM, when that happens, dont run ignition, post the info file here or email it to me at mlitsch @ powerteq.com and I will get you the files you need to proceed.

I uploaded that file and when it was done it said TCM update completed. When I plugged into my truck it said new calibration available for TCM. It then calibrated and asked for stock tune or Perf. Tran Tune I selected Perf. and it installed the Performance Tranny Tune and backed up original TCM tune! So I think we are good!! Definitely a big difference in shifts!!!! Thank you.
