Trinity T-1000, 2016 Grand Cherokee

So I have a Trinity T-1000 that I bought a few years ago. Well I was planning to use it to tune my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi. Now I know that I will need to purchase a new unlocked PCM but now I see you sell a Trinity 2.

My question is, do I need the unlocked PCM and the Trinity 2 to tune my Jeep or can I still use my T-1000 with a new unlocked PCM?
