Setting tire size with mismatched sizes

Post by TwiztidPixel »

Hello,

I installed my PCM and tune today, very painless process, thanks Diablo.

I would like to set the correct tire size so that the transmission is functioning optimally.

My vehicle is a 2015 Charger RT, my rear tires are a different size than the front/stock. 245/45/20 in front, 275/40/20 in back.

I assume that the rear tire is what I would set since they are what the transmission drives, but assuming can get you in trouble

Can I get some confirmation on this?

Thank you!

Yes, use the rear size.

I just had a question of this feature. I recently changed my tune to diablo tune. I put 20 in rims and tires size of 305/35/20 and now my digital and analog cluster is readying 20 mph below the actual speeds. I tried to put back the original cars tune and back to 91 tune and it didn’t change. Is there something I’m doing wrong? It was just out of no where it started doing that. @mikel
