TCM problems, can a CMR tuner just email me a tcm only tune?

Post by StreetCat16 »

hey guys,

my computer tune is spot on, but can't log the trans on a drag run.
when under full load at the track, hooked up on sticky tires, I am getting
the U1424 Implausible Engine torque code.
Something is holding me back via trans, and too much power on the tcm side.
Car should be about 800rwhp easy, and something is not jiving on TCM side.

Anybody know "IF" and possibly who could do a custom TCM only tune?
I am using an up to date Intune2 handheld.

thanks in advance, car went 10.58@133 with a 1.49 60ft, but doesn't shift right
at all the whole way down the track. Car feels like it is holding back and went into limp mode twice.

thoughts?

I'm not sure about a TCM only tune but you can contact Sean Powell at HemiFever Tuning and ask him.

yes, send them your tcm backup and let them make a custom tune from that.

They'll want to at least see the engine tune to know where limiters are set, etc.
