Do I need to backup my stock tune or any other data to my laptop?

I am paranoid that if something happens to my i2 I would not be able to restore my stock tune.

Also, is there a way to run my stock tune, with only mod to increase tire size?

you can copy the tune files from the Tunes folder to your computer to save a copy of them.

if you only want to change tire size and not apply a complete tune, then select the Modify Stock tune - that's just a copy of your stock original tune that you can make changes to.
