Wake up your new LT1 powered Camaro SS with a 91 or 93 octane tune from Diablosport!
Tuning for T87 TCM supported as well!

Can't get mine to work sadly... I followed each required step and updated the i2 first on my PC, then tried to install the easy tune or advanced tune but I either get an error message saying: "One or more of the ECU's on this vehicle requires an update. Please connect to ignition to update" Something like that..

Or it just stays stuck on "reading original" or "please wait" indefinitly...

Please help!! :crashing:

any one on here use the i3 on a 17 Camaro SS 1le? any issues with the tunes that come with the i3? if it comes with any tunes. are any of the parameters adjustable or do you need a custom tune for everything? thank you in advance for the help.

If I can get past the initial updates and CRC errors, I'll post my results.

I've got the CRC and update errors corrected finally. I had to clear updates, then start fresh.
Unfortunately I'm traveling for work so it will be a week or so before I can try the tune again.

Success! 2017 Camaro SS can be tuned.
I had to
connect to a PC (Mac actually) by USB
reset the i3 to defaults from the advanced menus
Download updates ( I connected the i3 to wifi and pulled the downloads)
unhook from pc
...
In car:
hold the start button for 8 secs to get into accessory mode
connect the i3 to the OBD port
once it booted I selected easy tune and 93 octane tune
I did NOT change any of the following settings as yet (Tire size, gear ratio)
But I did turn off the speed limiter.
The i3 took a backup, then asked if I really really wanted to flash the new tune, and I said yes, of course!
The tune went on in a few minutes (3-5)
then the i3 says turn the ignition OFF (which took me a couple trys to know: WAIT for the car to go all the way off)
then i3 says turn the ignition on, but don't start the engine (acc mode: hold the start button for 8 sec)
then off again and I can either reboot or go destroy some tires!
...

I do intend to try adjusting some of the other settings, but I want to see how people have set up tunes for their 2016's to have an idea.

Hope this helps, and I'll post whatever else I find out or try doing.

I also have 2017 SS. I had no problems at all with my inTune3. Only things I changed were to disable Advance Fuel, increase throttle to 15 and removed speed limiter.

You can't really change fuel and timing without a A/F gauge and doing dyno runs. Maybe you could do some WOT runs while data recording. I was thinking about doing that the next dry day.
