03 tahoe I2 wont change gear ratio

Post by friscokidd »

Hello every one, im new here. Just bought a diablo i2 for my wifes 03 tahoe that had the gears changed to 4.56's and 33" tires. Bought the diablo because it said that you can change those two items, but im only seeing where you can change the tire size , NOT the gear ratio. What am i missing?

TIA

its a bug on our end, please post the files from the tunes folder after you install the tune and let us know what the stock gears were and what the new gears are and we'll correct it for you.

Thanks

Hello,

I bought the i2 for my 2000 Chevy Silverado so that I can correct my gear ratio and tire size along with performance upgrades. I do not have the ability to change the gear ratio In any way. The only place I see the question to change the ratio is in easy tune, which I don't want to do but regardless, when I hit yes to change it, it will not give me an option to do so. can someone help me please? I would like to have the ability to change it in the different octane tunes and the modify tune menu also.

2000 Chevy Silverado
5.3 v8
stock gears 3.42
new gears 4.10 with 35" tires

I have a 99 Chevy Silverado that has the gear ratio changed from 3.73 to 4.56 please help. I could not find the option to change the gear ratio myself. If you could just make a tune with that it would be great! Thank you!

Same story here....I see the option to change the gear ratio, but I get an error when selecting that option.

2000 GMC Sierra 1500 4WD 4.8L
33.25" Tires (measured size)
Ignition Updater reports I'm on the latest software version

Need to change gearing from 3.73 to 4.56 as well, in addition to correcting for 35" tires (33.25" measured size on-vehicle), all for a 93 Octane tune.

Should I use the files previously posted above? My files are attached.

Thank you!
