Hello,
My truck is a 2017 5.3L 6 speed with flex fuel. I have filled up with E85 and was looking for the 91/93 Flex tune. But it isnt appearing as an option. I have the 87 tune and the Diablo tune available. I loaded the Diablo tune, firm shift, AFM off, speed limiter off, recalibrated tire size. The truck runs good, but not any noticable more power than the stock Chevy E85 calibration. Any advice on finding the correct tune? Thank you

we only offered the flex tune for 14 models as they were all flex equipped, starting in 15 some were not, and its not easy to tell whats what, so we didnt want to offer it for no flex trucks and cause problems.

Let me look into making it for you.
Can you post the PCM backup file from the tunes folder on the i2 drive here?

Thanks

Here yo go.
Save this to the i2 drive and let the tool import it then load it to the pcm and you can run 93 or e85, and the gains with e85 will be awesome :)

Thanks

Awesome! Thank you very much. Quick question: I saved the new file to my tunes folder. Then when I plugged the intune into the truck, I am not seeing where i select this tune. I am unable to find the location of the file. Do you know what the name would be? I am seeing 93, 91, 87, and mpg boost in the easy tune. And Diablo, 87, and mpg in the advanced. I've looked under the settings as well. Sorry I am new to this

you don't copy it to the Tunes folder subfolder.. you need to just copy it to the main i2 drive itself.. intune screen will show it loaded, press continue on the screen, and you're good to go..

If you're a Mac user, you have to drag it into the main i2drive then hit eject and do it over again until the intune confirms it was written.

no, that tune is specific to his vehicle and device, and will only work for a factory flex fuel application.
