I2 2000 Yukon XL 2500 "Fail To Read"

Hey guys, I've got a 2000 GMC Yukon XL 2500 6.0 4L80E and I'm trying to tune it for the first time with a used I2. I keep getting a "Fail To Read" error right after the OFF/ON cycle. I've updated it manually via drag and drop, I've also tried updating it over wifi. Nothing seems to work. Factory radio, no onstar. I completely disconnected every wire going to my trailer brake controller. There are no other aftermarket accessories that I am aware of. It did have some sort of tracking system that was plugged into the obd port but it has been completely removed. I've pulled the several fuses that I've seen mentioned to pull. What else can I do? Yes. Stock radio. No Onstar.
