Difference between i2 and i3

Post by DTMaD10 »

What is the difference/advantage of the i2vsi3? I have a 2016 Silverado with the 5.3. Any new perameters that can be changed? Will I be able to disable automatic engage of traction control on startup? I had a i1000 on my old 2007 sierra and loved it. Got a new truck and already put an exhaust on it and the afm is driving me nuts so i need a new tuner asap

tunes and adjustable parameters are the same..

No, can't do anything about traction control or stabilitrak.. those are ABS systems, have nothing to do with engine/tranny... the only thing you can do is to hold down the traction control button on your dash for about 6-8 seconds and that will disable them both.. other than that, can't do anything for those..

going forward, any new vehicle support or features/functionality updates, will only be done for the i3...

Sounds like a plan. Are the i3's currently in stock? Summit racing has them listed on back order?

yes they are.. I've been shipping them since last week to my customers...

I sell the inTune i3 8245 Platinum and I also offer a package deal that includes my custom tuning at a discount so you'd save some $$. ;)

You can find info about it, as well as links to my Package Deals, Testimonials, Pricing, purchasing/ordering, etc. on my site here: http://www.diablewtune.com/package_deals.html

You can also email me directly at: diablo DOT help AT gmail DOT com for more info, etc...

Thanks!

There is no boat here :)

i2/i3 run the same software, nothing is obsolete about your i2. Thats like buying an iphone 7 last week and declaring it to be obsolete now that the iphone 8 is out. Simply not the case...
