2011 Silverado 4.8 to 5.3?

Sorry rookie here .. I'm sure it's been answered here before .The box says" InTune 3 for GM vehicles 25716" sku 8200 Does this cover all GM? I used this for my 2011 Silverado 4.8 . Recently I traded it in and reset program to stock. My question is My son has a 2011 Silverado 5.3 . Is it possible to use this on his truck as is since it's sitting unused at this time? Is the software in the programmer ok for the 5.3? Also would this work on a 2014 5.3 High Country? Thanks!!

yes it will support those trucks... you can use it on either of those trucks since it is unlocked/reset..

You have the 8200 version, so you can only use the preset canned tunes that come on it... you can not get custom tuning done for the trucks, since the 8200 version can not do custom tuning.
