wifi no longer working after update?

Hi,

Just a general question. Hope this is the right section.

I updated my intune i3 to the latest update that showed up under the ignition program. It is up to date since it shows me the "buy additional licenses" page. Last time I updated it was maybe 3-4 months ago. The only issue I had before updating was that I got a not enough space error (not sure of the exact wording) during the update, but I went into the i3 folder and deleted a few data logs (in the logs folder) I had which were like 18mb and then the update went through.


Now when I go into wifi setup on the unit, the select network screen under setup is blank. It doesnt find any networks.

To be honest I dont remember if I had wifi set up before updating it last but it seems it wont setup now. I know I did have wifi set up in the past so it did work before on this unit.


I guess i am posting just to see if its a bug or something with an update in case you need to be made aware. Updating still works plugged into the PC via ignition.

it's best to connect it to your pc/laptop and use the Updater/Ignition program to update it anyway... but yes, the wifi option should still be available...

there is a wifi bug, we're working on it at the mpoment.

Any ETA on this? Mines still not finding any WiFi after update. Also, I have no pc/laptop to connect it to. Has worked fine over the past year since I purchased it until now.

Hoping for a fix this week, but if you are up to date enough to not have wifi, you are good to go

So I updated it and the wifi works now. But now when I install a tune and modify parameters to turn DoD off, it freezes. I tried it 3 times, and each time it has froze when I select “off”. Any suggestions? Thanks

Still freezing up on me. Pretty frustrating. Keeps freezing when I go to “modify parameters” and try to disable the DoD. Any suggestions please?

please post the serial number of the device or the info.xml file from the device so I can check this out.

when you connect the tool to your pc/laptop, go into the main i3 drive.. and it's in there.. info.xml

So do you still need that file or was my serial number enough? The only computer I have is my wife’s work computer, which I don’t always have access to.
