I2 Updater

Post by tex_1963 »

I originally posted this in the i2030 for GM vehicles which I think is the wrong place.

I updated my i2 ( this is the 3rd time I updated it ) and now I can't change the tune on my 2013 Camaro. It reads the original Backup to 100% and then does nothing after that. I installed the original backup and tried to change the tune and it just reads the backup to 100% and does nothing. I have 2 licenses one for a 2013 Camaro SS and one for a 2001 Ford Excursion 7.3 Diesel. I have attached the information file. What am i doing wrong. I have had no problems changing the tunes on the Excursion.

The intune reads the original backup but nothing else happens(see attachment) It doesn't prompt me for anything. I have been patient but this is starting to be rediculous. I need to change the tune on my Excursion but I am afraid to because of what is happening with the Camaro tune. This really blows .

Yes, what you see in the picture is after it reads it. Nothing else happened. I think something is corrupted. I tried to updat it again and I got a message that there are 2 backup files it was unable to read. I couldn't get a screen shot of it because it it went straight to the menu for buying products that can be added to it. This is kind of frustrating. Do you think my original backup got corrupted? Is there a way to clear the updates and return it to my first initial stock backup file?

It just stops after reading. I let it sit in the car for an hour and nothing happens. This happened after I updated it the last time. I had trouble updating because I lost my wireless connection to my laptop. However, it did say that it updated. I then went to change the tune on my car after reloading the stock tune and now this is what happens . I can try to update it again tonight and see if I can get it to work. I did this once and it said it updated but it flashed two errors saying it could not find 2 backup files. So this concerns me.
