F150 in Canada - Will a predator 2 work

Hi all.. i'm trying to order the predator 2 7120 for my 2017 F150 3.5 Ecoboost. Can someone tell me if it will work on my Truck? There is a small sentence that says it only works on United States vehicles... doesn't make a ton of sense to me since my truck was built in the USA. Can someone confirm if it will work or not before I purchase? Thanks.
