Went to the web did my down loads and data view went well. Cleared a code that was thrown, went well.
I know that a tune was put on my 6.1 by previous owner many moons ago. I now am about to replace the motor
and desire the ability to utilize a predator so I received mine days ago.
Why am I not able to change the tune in my currant 6.1 as it sets?
I get a screen msg. "Error Checking Calibration Revision Please Contact Customer Service".
Thanks for the help and I look forward to gaining understanding in using this.

the device will not let you start with a previous tune, it will want to load a stock file to the pcm before it lets you load a new tune.

Thank you Mike, so I need to get the car flashed at the dealer with the original tune in order to start fresh with a new predator as well as a new tune.

No, we'll get it back to stock, please give our team a call and have the device handy and we'll upload the read from the vehicle on a PC and then create a file to get you back to stock.
