Analog input?

Post by duster360 »

Any ETA when a T2 will be able to log an external 0-5v input?

Looks like the OBD cable is setup for a 6 pin molex but only vague reference to "Expandable Accessories" in the "near future" in the literature.

plan for T2 is to use our EAS system which allows for plug and play external sensors. We are still working on making a wideband available and enabling the EAS functionality.

At some point I believe there will also be a 0-5 universal input option, but using our WB will be ideal as it will not require any set up.

Heres some info on what we offer for the current Edge devices with EAS:

Ok,,well I was hoping to retire my very old, Gen 1 Trinity for datalogging custom tunes but if the T2 won't log my AFM1000 I guess not.

I still have a gen1 trinity (connector on the bottom) and honestly, I love it.
One of the most stable devices I have used for years :)

we dont offer one currently. What I am saying as that once we do, it will be a simple plug and play option thats preconfigured through the device, no scaling, setting it up, etc.

Would be really great to have a way for a DS device to speak serial (RS232), so that it would be able to interface to devices that can give accurate digital data, like Innovate Motorsports' product, and a plethora of others on the market. Could have some presets for common communications protocols, and then a section to allow a user to input parameters (via PC) to capture the data stream.
