2015 Ram T2 Platinum with PCM 5.7 8 speed transmission.
I’ve had a misfire especially noticeable on startup. Watching the O2S11, O2S12, O2S21 and O2S22 gauges I noticed the O2S11 and O2S21 gauges would not resemble the other two. I’m thinking the odd numbered gauges read the O2 temperature on the drivers side as that is where all odd cylinders are located. O2S11 and O2S21 would constantly fluctuate between 35 and 840 at idle, while driving, warmed up, where as the other 2 would start off at 35 on start up and as the vehicle warmed up would steady increase to 840. When I let off the gas to coast up to a stop or slow down all gauges read 0.
Do these gauges display the temperature of the exhaust?
Any idea why they would read totally different from one another?
I’ve already replaced the O2 sensors and there is no change. Whenever the O2S11 and O2S21 drop down the vehicle does a slight decrease in idle.

Re: Oxygen Sensor
o2 sensors measure oxygen content. The values are based on 0-1V output for narrow bands.
They are constantly switching to achieve the target AFR.
Its possible there is an issue with one of the o2 sensor harnesses.
Thanks

Re: Oxygen Sensor
Thank you mikel
On the T2, do you know what each identification measures pertaining to the sensors?
Does the O2S11 measure the voltage on the upstream driver side O2 sensor? O2S21 downstream driver side? O2S12 upstream passenger side and O2S22 downstream passenger?
Just trying to figure out if the problem is with a specific side or if it is coming from upstream or downstream sensor.

Re: Oxygen Sensor
11 is driver side front, 12 is pass side front, 21 is driver side rear, 22 is pass side rear.
