DiabloSport / Sprint

I just bought a DiabloSport Sprint to use on my 2015 C7 Z51.
I just received it yesterday and haven't tried it yet, however, there is a small note on the inside of the package that warns of possible battery drainage on certain models if you leave it plugged in. Is this an issue with the Sprint model?
I wanted something easy to use to disable the AFM system. nothing else. If it can't be left plugged in all the time it will be nothing but a "pain".
Did I buy the wrong model for what I want? If so, do you think there is a possibility to exchange it for a different model?

Its only an issue/concern if the vehicle sits for a week or 2 at a time...
